Tasting
To fully appreciate the quality of our products, we
organise weekly courses in wine and oil tasting.
Truffles
During the months of March, July and November, within the
area for Truffles, you can learn the
technique of collecting truffles accompanied by our
well trained dogs.
The Miller's secrets
Come and taste the rich flavour of the Tuscany oil and discover
it character. You won't regret it! The visit lasts about
1 ½ hours and includes a walk through the olive groves,
an introduction to the traditional oil maker of Tuscany, and
a guided visit to the oil-mill. You will
visit the only windmill in Italy still operational.
It dates back to the 19th century. The Farm decided to restore
the windmill, together with its old traditions, returning
to the production of biological flour. The visit ends with
the tasting of the extra virgin olive
oil from biological production.
The nectar of Bacchus
To the discovery of Bacchus's favourite drink, here
for you an instructive and appetizing tour . After a walk
through the vineyards and listening to a short introduction
on the history of the Farm, the Villa Stozzi and the Farm's
symbol, the 250 year old Cedar of Lebanon, you
can try our wines acquiring some interesting and curious
particulars.
Visit to the ceramic workshop
A guide through the fascinating history of Romano Innocenti
and his family, will help you appreciate his numerous collections.
Fauna and Flora
For children and others, here is a tour
with direct contact of the fascinating Tuscany landscape.
Getting to know about the plants etc. immerging in nature
itself. An expert environmental guide
will accompany you. Learn about the vegetable and animal species
which live on our land: Cyprus trees, holm-oak trees, beech-wood
trees, olives... there's no secret for botanical and
nature lovers. Learn about looking around oneself and recognising
how familiar we are with what surrounds us.
Visits to Art cities
You can easily visit the main art cities and appreciate
the peace of the countryside re-entering after an animated
day. Florence is only 30 minutes
and can be reached by car, train or by bus. Fiesole
is about the same distance and can be found on the hill opposite
the Farm holding and the route through which it passes is
interrupted by breathtaking views. Siena and its surroundings
can be found inside a 80 km radius and easily reached within
an hour. Arezzo and the Val di
Chiana can be found at about 60 km.
