The Windmill Restaurant, a place known and appreciated since the forties for its cuisine inspired by the most authentic Tuscan tradition, takes its name from the Windmill of the village, recently restored, where even today, the farm grinds organic grain to get the flour used in the production of pasta, cakes and sweets.

In the countryside, in perfect harmony with the environment, the restaurant offers a wide and shaded terrace overlooking a landscape full of charm; one of the hills surrounding Florence. The choice of a soft traditional furnishings, blended with the decorations contrasting the ceilings and the pavement made from disused barrels now centenarian, reflect the sensitivity to the most authentic tradition.

In the kitchen they are used raw materials, always fresh and genuine, closely linked to the territory and the change of the seasons; the strict interpretation of Tuscan cuisine are combined with some "pearls" of traditional Italian cuisine. The warm and relaxing atmosphere combined with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff will accompany you to your table, making it really special.

The location of the farm, secluded and peaceful, allows it use by alternating between cheerful ceremonies to scholarly congresses.

With your suggestions, we will prepare buffets and banquets for any occasion and requirements (typically Tuscany, game, international, Liguria, and around) and, if you wish, we will be prepared for everything.
